IIHS reached another important milestone in the education industry in Sri Lanka by training and exporting 25+ Health and Social Care Assistants in the Social Care sector in United Kingdom. The Health and Social Care Assistants trained by IIHS are of exceptional quality who will be serving in the elderly care institutions in UK.
In April 2021 the International Institute of Health Sciences launched the Certificate in Health and Social Care Assistance program as per the request by International Labor Organization (ILO) to support the individuals and professionals who were affected by the socio economic effects of the post pandemic in Sri Lanka. The program also aimed at exporting skilled labor since it was a government mandate in improving foreign remittance through the export of skilled labor.
The Certificate in Health and Social Care Assistance program has been recognized by the industry partners of IIHS in United Kingdom (The National Health Service and Care England) and IIHS only collaborate with the elderly care institutions which are affiliated to NHS and/or Care England to make sure the candidates who successfully complete the Certificate in Health and Social Care Assistance program and migrate, have the job security and career progression with leads to a GOOD LIFE in UK.
By working directly with the industry partners and affiliated care institutions, IIHS has been able to reduce the extraordinary fees charged by the local job placement agents. As the leader in health care training (private sector) with a track record of over 20 years, IIHS is charging only for the training and related direct costs incurred for a candidate making it affordable to the candidates.
